Cars With Big Boots

Cars With Big Boots

For many customers, the quest for practicality and versatility has consistently remained at the forefront. Among the countless features that define an ideal car, one aspect often overlooked but immensely valuable is its boot space. A car's ability to accommodate cargo, whether it be luggage for a road trip, groceries for the week, or gear for an outdoor adventure, is a critical consideration.

Do you often travel with big loads of luggage or use your car for the weekly family shop? Whatever your reason, boot space is valuable in cars. Therefore, when choosing your new car, it’s worth considering the boot space available. In this article, we’ve picked a selection of the best cars with big boots to meet your requirements.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate

First, with an extensive history dating back decades, the E-Class Estate has constantly embodied the company's commitment to excellence in both form and function. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate is a great offering, with 670 litres of boot space and handy fold-out hooks. In addition, it has the added bonus of a large under-floor storage area. We feel this estate car combines the class of a saloon with the extra space of an SUV. However, if you opt for a hybrid version such as the E300de, bear in mind that the hybrid battery reduces the luggage capacity.

As an alternative to the Audi A6 Avant, this premium estate car has a great engine line-up. In particular, the E220d diesel option proves especially popular as it’s not only economical, but it still offers plenty of power and performance for your drive. We think this Mercedes is an ideal family car as it’s practical, spacious and well-designed. Features such as the new steering wheel, ambient interior lighting and powerdomes on the bonnet as standard make this sportier looking than ever before.

Overall, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate combines the best of luxury, utility, and safety in a stylish package. It's a vehicle that caters to those who demand not only a refined driving experience but also the versatility to handle various aspects of their daily lives with ease and grace.

With all seven seats in place, the BMW X7 still has a boot capacity of 326 litres. Meanwhile, with the second and third row of seats down, its 2,120 litres of boot space is incredible.

The BMW X7 isn’t short of luxury as high-quality materials have been used throughout. Another large car with a big boot is the fantastic Mercedes-Benz GLE. Available as either a five or seven-seater, the Mercedes GLE is a premium SUV with great off-road capability. This Mercedes is sized between the Mercedes GLC and GLS models. The Mercedes GLE is available with a selection of engine options – petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid. Specifically, the diesel engines are punchy, as well as returning a decent fuel economy.

Rivalling the Audi Q7, a Mercedes GLE lease offers a comfortable ride thanks to its spacious cabin. With the GLE design, t’s clear that Mercedes focused on comfort and style rather than sportiness. The 630-litre boot space is generous, although this is reduced to 490 litres for the plug-in hybrid 350de version. Plus, the cabin is meticulously crafted, using quality materials to create a refined atmosphere.

In summary, we feel the Mercedes-Benz GLE delivers on both practicality and aesthetics. Its clever storage solutions, luxurious interior, and striking design combine to create a premium SUV that elevates the driving experience.
