Jurassic Coast Dorset
Enjoy a quiet road trip along this beautiful coast to see spectacular views. This is a World Heritage Site featuring excellent coastline, picturesque villages and hills.The Jurassic Coast spans for 95 miles from Orcombe Point in Exmouth, Devon to Old Harry Rocks in Dorset.
A beautiful mountain pass located in the Lake District, Cumbria. It has an altitude of 1,489 feet at its peak making it the highest pass (A592) in the Lake District. The pass is steep and has many bends so be extra cautious but well worth the effort. Fancy stopping off for some food? Well, you could stop at The Kirkstone Pass Inn, the third highest public house in England.
Snake Pass, Peak District
Located in the Derbyshire section of the Peak District, Snake Pass offers magnificent moutain pass for a pleasant drive. Snake Pass is 42 miles long and first opened in 1821.The pass begins east of Glossop and runs through the National Trust's High Peak Estate.
Cheddar Gorge, Somerset
If you're looking for a short road trip, Cheddar Gorge is a great option at only 15 miles long. Cheddar Gorge is a spectacular route located 10 miles south-west of Bristol. A limestone gorge with awe-inspiring cliffs - this is definitely a place not to be missed.
Cat and Fiddle Road
This amazing road is located between Buxton to Macclesfield. It passes the Cat and Fiddle inn at the summit which is the second-highest public house in England. Take extra care when driving through a series of sharp bends on the road though.
