The exterior of the Audi A3 has not changed much, with minor tweaks visible. This include a new hexagonal radiator grille, a wider opening to the boot and fresh LED headlamps. However, it is the inside where the main changes can be noticed. Taking centre stage on the dashboard is a new 10.1-inch infotainment screen as standard across the range. In addition, the new A3 is able to receive external data from municipal services and road infrastructure, in order to provide real-time information on parking availability and traffic flow.
As with all Audi cars, the latest A3 has a luxurious feel to it. The entry level Teknik model starts from £23,300, with standard equipment including 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, cruise control and lane keeping assist. Alternatively, you could choose the top of the range A3 Vorsprung starting from £40,330. Upgrades include a panoramic glass sunroof, a power-operated tailgate and improved Nappa leather upholstery. Additional driver assistance technology includes parking assist, a 360-degree camera and a traffic sign recognition system. Other mid-range models are also available.
