Thousands of individuals participated in the Driver Power 2019 poll, which is the UK’s largest car satisfaction survey. The results are in so read on to find out more. Did Peugeot’s 3008 retain its 2018 crown or is there a new winner this year?
Driver Power New Car Survey
Each year, Auto Express conducts the Diver Power Survey in order to rank the best cars to buy for that particular year. There are nine judging categories which are used to decide the final rating score for each car. The percentage given is the average of a car’s scores which then defines its chart position. Below are the top-rated cars from this survey which shows the car percentage rating and key points for each car.
Taking the top position in 2019 is the Toyota Prius, a superb hybrid family hatchback.
Following closely in second place is the Lexus IS. This excellent car has climbed 9 places from last year's survey!
Taking the bronze medal this year is the fantastic Alfa Romeo Guilia.
Climbing three places up from its 2018 position, the Kia Serento is in fourth position this year.
In fifth place this year is Lexus's biggest SUV, the Lexus RX.
In sixth place is the Skoda Kodiaq. This impressive SUV is highly practical and spacious.
If you'd prefer a mid-sized SUV instead, the Peugeot 3008 in seventh position might appeal to you.
In eighth place is the superb Hyundai Ioniq.
