Over recent years, figures have revealed a surge in demand for EVs worldwide.In fact, according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), a total of 2,271 battery electric vehicles (BEV) were registered in July 2019. This was almost triple the number of BEV registrations in July 2018. We suspect this increased demand for EVs is largely driven by the substantial support and news coverage regarding plans for an entirely electric future within the automotive industry.That said, we've decided to put together a list of the top electric cars to lease.

This fully electric 5-door SUV offers supreme comfort both in the front and rear space, as well as a generous 660-litres of boot space. As expected with an Audi, this car provides a prestige interior with high quality build materials. Impressively, the e-tron can achieve 0-62pmh in less than 6 seconds! Also, according to manufacturer's figures, the e-tron provides a range of up to 237 miles for one full charge. Tesla Model S
This prestige car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in as little as 2.4 seconds and has a top speed of 162mph! Also, The Tesla Model S can achieve up to 348 miles of range (WLTP) on a single charge, plus it can be recharged up to 133 miles in 15 minutes at any Supercharge location. It has a luxurious and spacious interior, including an impressive 804 litres of boot space!. Features such as a 17-inch touchscreen and advanced noise engineering make this a fantastic and highly appealing car to drive. Nissan Leaf
This fully electric car was the top selling electric vehicle in Europe 2018. It can achieve a range of 168 miles (WLTP) and could make a very good family car. Also, advanced safety tech, such as blind spot warning and intelligent lane intervention, make this a safe and appealing car to drive. As for the interior, we feel it has a spacious feel and the new 8" display with Nissan door-to-door navigation is excellent.
