As an alternative to the Nissan Leaf, the Volkswagen ID.3 has become increasingly popular. Taking third place, this award-winning electric car has an excellent range capability and is competitively priced. In fact, the range-topping VW ID.3 Pro S can achieve up to 336 miles of range (combined WLTP). Other key features to point out include the 385-litre boot space, a standard fit 10-inch infotainment display screen and LED headlights as standard. 2.Kia e-Niro – 12,271 units
Missing out on top position this time is the Kia e-Niro. Still though, this practical family car combines phenomenal range, practicality and excellent styling. Having received various awards worldwide, the Kia e-Niro stands out for its highly competitive pricing and its ability to provide up to 282 miles on a single charge. Furthermore, the e-Niro is an extremely easy car to drive. Performance wise, it’s reported the e-Niro can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 104 mph.
